RHS FFA banquet celebrates students

Filled with 130 students, parents and supporters – the Richmond High School (RHS) Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter hosted its end-of-year banquet this past week. “Our focus for tonight is to congratulate our members for the hard work and dedication they have displayed throughout the year,” Allison Coats, FFA officer team president, said as she welcomed the crowd.

Commissioners sign court order

Following voter approval of the three percent sales tax on marijuana in April, Ray County Commissioners must report to the Missouri Department of Revenue which areas tax monies will be used. Commissioners signed the court order during its recent meeting so that necessary paperwork would be in place if a dispensary were to open in the county.
