The Sidewalk Improvement Grant Program makes funds available to residential and commercial property owners for sidewalk replacement or new installation. The City of Richmond recognizes the quality sidewalks within the city are necessary to protect the health, safety and welfare of residents and visitors.

In light of April being National Earth Month, there are many ways to participate in environmentally friendly actions and steps to create change in the community. On April 22, more than 1 billion people celebrate Earth Day, an annual event to demonstrate support of protecting the planet from things like pollution and deforestation.

Working to enhance the local farmer’s market, Richmond City Council members focused on Bill No. 23, Section 15, amending certain sections of the Downtown Farmer’s Market.

As the shadow of my career grows longer behind me, and my time left at Hardin-Central dwindles, my overriding feeling is one of gratitude. Gratitude for: 1. A supportive School Board who remained true to our goals of academic success and large-scale facility improvements, regardless of any labels or “distinction.” Thank you for taking a chance on a young, inexperienced candidate back in 2016.
