Judy Kaye Carpenter, 64, of Stet, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
Judy was born on Nov. 26, 1957, in Marshall, MO, the youngest of six daughters born to L.D. and Elsie Bernice (Alexander) Simmons. She was united in marriage to Douglas Cameron “Doug” Carpenter of Stet on June 1, 1986; he survives of the home.
William Joseph Wilsdon 47, a resident of Blue Springs, passed away in Excelsior Springs Hospital on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

Carolyn Jean Russell was born on Aug. 8, 1939, in Norborne, MO, to Joseph and Florence (Clark) Russell. She was the oldest of four daughters who grew up in rural Missouri.

Effie Rose (Moppin) Minyard, 87, of Faucett, MO passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022.
Effie was born on Jan. 4, 1935, in Henrietta, MO. She was the daughter of George Andy and Mamie Pearl (Mershon) Moppin and she was one of 14 children. She worked as a seamstress for many years. She loved to sew and crochet. On June 11, 1971, in Weston, MO Effie married Floyd Edward Minyard.
Kelly Lyn Downs, 60, of Richmond, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, at Liberty Hospital.
David A. Warren, 51, of Cleveland, TN, passed away at a Chattanooga hospital on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home, 507 E N Main St., Richmond, MO 64085. His family will receive visitors at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
