Although more than 60 court cases and sworn testimony from election officials have failed to show widespread, outcome-changing election fraud, lawmakers in several states have passed or are considering laws to make voting more difficult, including in Missouri.

JEFFERSON CITY – At the House Special Committee on Redistricting hearing Monday in Jefferson City, Richmond businessman Jimmy Carter raised concern about the effect on voting and costs. Carter opposed how the proposed congressional redistrict plan would divide Ray County and Richmond, saying the city division appeared arbitrary.

Richmond board names 2022-23 superintendent

RICHMOND – Dr. Greg Darling resigned, effective June 30, as Richmond School District superintendent of schools and Dr. Bryan Copple will take the job.
Copple is the Gallatin School District superintendent.
