Ray County Museum accepts Landau carriage donation

Body With the intention to honor her late husband, Marcia Claire Smith donated an 1800s Landau carriage made in Germany to the Ray County Museum this past week. Marcia’s husband, Donald Ray Smith, had a love for restoring buggies and carriages.

Elementary teacher receives grant

Body Sunrise Elementary music teacher Kaelyn Rich, a recent grant recipient, is excited for the upcoming school year to begin. Rich received the $60 grant from Western Governors University (WGU) Midwest Regional Manager Daniel Avegalio.

Beta Sigma Phi members accept awards

Body Jan Carnahan accepts the Degree of Exemplar Award. The group hosted a Gamma Theta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi ritual. The Exemplar Degree, the third degree of Beta Sigma Phi, may be conferred when a member has completed four years at the “Ritual of Jewels” level.

Bark Bargains reopens adds pet food pantry
