Richmond varsity boys basketball coach Kevin Jermain watched his Spartans pull off a balancing act of attitudes on Feb. 3, when they pounded visiting Holden 78-19 for a courtwarming and Missouri River Valley Conference (MRVC) East Division win.

Another Spartan is trading his Richmond red and white for New Mexico State University crimson and white. Senior Jack Gogue has agreed to play football at New Mexico State, an NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision program that will join Conference USA in July after a brief stint as an independent school.
