An idea from years ago gives opportunities to Ideal Industries Inc. (iii) employees and they are thrilled about it, according to iii CEO Heather Pugh. Ideal Bites food trailer opened Monday and the food truck will be available 11 a.m. through 1 p.m. every Monday with new lunch menus every week.
Richmond’s marijuana rules have been updated to reflect changes in the Missouri Constitution. Richmond City Council members unanimously adopted an ordinance amending certain sections of the municipal code regarding both recreational and medical marijuana facilities.
Residents commuting to and from Excelsior Springs have noticed the detour as the Missouri Hwy 10 Bridge is being worked on. Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) Kansas City District Area Engineer Benjamin Mc-Cabe confirmed that the bridge work is “on schedule” and the anticipated contract completion is the end of November.
A piece of art during its time finds itself inside the Ray County Museum. An 1870s Knabe Square Grand piano was donated to the museum this past month from Tim and Maria Twyman of Odessa, according to Ray County Museum Director Cathy Gottsch.
