Body RICHMOND – Starting with sophomore Sydney Appleberry’s leadoff at-bat in the bottom of the first inning, the Spartans found ways to get hits Monday against Lexington. They swatted base hits into the outfield.

Body RICHMOND – Varsity volleyball coach Crystal Turner found reasons to be proud of her Spartans after their 3-0 season-opening sweep Sept. 2 by visiting Summit Christian Academy.

Body NORBORNE – Coach Andrew Watson challenged his Aggies to play hard and persevere during Norborne Hardin-Central’s 46-22 loss to Knox County Sept. 3.

Body RICHMOND – Going in, the varsity football game looked equal, leaning toward Oak Grove. Oak Grove brought 16 seniors, 11 juniors and a winning record in 2020 versus Richmond’s 12 seniors, 13 juniors and an MRVC East crown.

Body SPARTANS DOMINATE 40-6 LATHROP – Almost every play seemed to go the Spartans’ way Aug. 27 in their 40-6 road win against the Lathrop Mules.
