JEFFERSON CITY – A photo of a barn won Best in Show for the 2020 Focus on Missouri Agriculture Photo Contest hosted by the Missouri Department of Agriculture. Submitted by Christine Peper, Jefferson City, judges chose the photo from nearly 1,000 submitted by amateurs from across Missouri.

WASHINGTON – The IRS reminds seniors and retirees that they are not required to take money out of their IRA and workplace retirement plans this year. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, or CARES Act, waives a required minimum distribution, or RMD, during 2020 for IRAs and retirement plans, including beneficiaries with inherited accounts.
