RICHMOND – The action plan requires assembly-line precision to create, package and distribute Thanksgiving dinners to scores of people at New Beginnings Church. Several volunteers in the kitchen – among them Misty Carpenter, Linda Powers and Eleanor Covey – bake the turkey and cornbread stuffing, stir the green beans and gravy, and mash the potatoes.
