The Richmond FFA Chapter officer team gathered on June 23 to pursue its goal of teaching younger kids in the community more about the importance of agriculture. The team met with the Richmond summer school fourth-grade classes at Sunrise Elementary and talked to them about the differences between dairy and beef cattle.

Ray County has changed the way it electronically enters warrants for arrests, searches and other lawrelated business. Starting Tuesday, the Ray County Courthouse began entering the data, rather than 911 dispatchers.
