Richmond volleyballers kick off two-week camp

Kelly Jaggars and Natalie Marrant have their expectations set for Richmond’s varsity volleyball season – and they expect this week’s team camp sessions to help the Spartans meet those goals. “I really hope to get something on that banner,” Marrant said, referring to the banner for Missouri River Valley Conference East Division and postseason titles in volleyball that hangs in the Richmond High School gym, where camp started with a morning session Monday.

Memory Gardens decorations should be removed by Friday

Anyone with a decoration on a grave at Richmond Memory Gardens that isn’t in a vase must remove it by Friday, the city of Richmond stated July 13 on its Facebook page. “Richmond Memory Gardens understands and embraces the desire to pay tribute and respect to those that pass on before us, through the adorning of a loved one’s grave with flowers and appropriate seasonal decorations,” the city, which owns the cemetery, stated in the social media post.
