Students receive technical skills certificates

Richmond High School FFA members enrolled in agriculture education courses which offer a unique opportunity to go beyond the classroom and learn real-world applications in several disciplines. Courses included agricultural mechanics, livestock evaluation and a dozen other areas of learning.

As we move quickly to the end of the 2023-2024 school year, I am filled with gratitude and admiration for our students, staff, community and families, whose dedication to one another and to the mission of learning, has made educational excellence possible for our students. We have much to celebrate.

Dismissal denied

Ray County courts overruled Sheriff Scott Childers’ motion to dismiss the State Attorney General’s quo warranto, a challenge to a person’s right to hold a public office. Childers’ three-day trial will begin at 9 a.m.
