Ty Crowley was pleased with the grit he saw from his son Hunter July 11 at the Ray County Fair. Hunter Crowley, a member of the Millville 4-H Club and soon-to-be high schooler at Excelsior Springs, competed that morning in trap shooting and archery on the county fairgrounds in Richmond.

Richmond’s prep football players worked to sharpen their skills this week, in part, to get ready to scrimmage against other high schools next week. At press time, the Spartans were slated to finish a set of team camp sessions Thursday on their practice field.
