The District 21 State Senate race saw Republican Kurtis Gregory take the majority of votes with 14,940 (56.63%), followed by Doug Richey with 11,442 votes, or 43.37%. Gregory will face Democrat Jim Bates, who was unopposed, in the November 5 general election.
