Body Betty Sue Edgar, 75, of Richmond died unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.  Betty was born on Oct. 22, 1946, in Richmond the daughter of Albert E. and Florence Louise (Rogers) Leach.

Body Connie Marie Greer, 81, of Richmond, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022, at Valley Manor and Rehabilitation Center in Excelsior Springs.  Connie was born on Sept. 17, 1941, in Kansas City, the daughter of Woodrow Lee and Gladys Marie (Reynolds) Battagler.

Body Kathy Ann Slade, 67, of Richmond, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, at Kansas City Hospice House.  Kathy was born on July 15, 1955, in Excelsior Springs, the daughter of Orra Smith and Lillie Mae (Rowan) Slade, Jr.

Body Allen Eugene Estenbaum, 83, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at his residence.  Allen was born on Mar. 6, 1939, in Rayville, the son of David Edward and Lola (McFee) Estenbaum. He was united in marriage Lois June Haynes of Richmond on Dec.

Body Our beloved husband and father, Charles Douglas “Doug” Courtney, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022.  He was born on Aug. 10, 1956, to Charles Jacob and Grethen Marie (Guenther) Courtney in Muscatine, IA. 

Body Beverly Jean Gaulden, 60, of Richmond, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at North Kansas City Hospital.  Beverly was born on Sept.

Body Carolyn Lee (Cole) Allen, 87 years old of Kansas City, MO (formally of Orrick, MO) died on Sept. 16, 2022, at Liberty Hospital. She was born Mar. 25, 1935, in Alamosa, CO to Lloyd and Vera Cole.   

Body Elizabeth Jean Greenlee died peacefully Sept. 13, 2022, at her home. All who know her well, which it seems is much of the Richmond, MO population, know her only as “Jean”.

Body Pattie Ann Verschueren, 70, of Richmond, MO passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at her home.  She was born to Arnold "Lloyd" and Nellie "Tooter" Dunning McCullah on May 6, 1952, in Aurora, MO.

Body Ronald L. “Ron” Gibson, 81, of Norborne, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Ron was born on Apr.4, 1941, to Clyde E. Gibson and Olga P. (Raasch) Gibson. He attended the Trinity Lutheran School until the 7th grade.
