Body LAWSON – Richmond saw the type of varsity girls basketball team it wants to be during Tuesday night’s 73-13 loss to Chillicothe in the Barker Center in first-round Lawson Invitational action. “They’re an excellent ball team,” Richmond coach Chad Snyder said.

Body ORRICK – The Bearcats won and lost by double digits Tuesday when they hosted Kansas City Lutheran in nonconference varsity basketball action. With four players reaching double figures, the varsity boys cruised to an 86-47 win.

Body HARDIN – It started with a free throw. Hardin-Central trailed Grundy County/ Newtown-Harris 37-36 when Morgan Finley went to the foul line with 1 minute, 51 seconds left in overtime of Monday’s non-conference meeting.

Body CARROLLTON – Richmond wanted to dominate Carrollton when the teams met Dec. 22 in varsity boys basketball.
