The Ray County Fair 4-H Rabbit Show gives competitors an opportunity to display their rabbits after caring for them prior to the 4-H event. Throughout the competitiveness of the day, the Littlewood sister trio said they had fun showing their rabbits.
When a child or teen participates in the Ray County Fair and the 4-H Exhibits, it is a learning experience. But for Wyatt Covey, 14, it was also an opportunity to physically create a dream barn shop inspired by his grandfather’s.
Area residents gathered for the annual Farmers Appreciation Dinner, held as part of the Ray County Fair, last week. Fair sponsors, local businesses and farmers made their way to the fairgrounds to get in line for their meals, provided by Branded Steakhouse.
A new bill passed earlier this month forbids Missouri drivers of any age from holding or using any “electronic communication devices.” Called “Siddens Bening Hands Free Law” Missouri Revised Statute 304.820 described devices as anything from a phone to laptops. Drivers may not take videos or scroll while driving – this includes talking on the phone, manually texting or typing into a search engine.
