RCSD working to break addiction cycle

Although the Ray County Sheriff’s Department Inmate Work Program has been “phenomenal,” Sheriff Scott Childers understands it’s a “double- edged sword” with county victims. The program, which began in late 2023, has been positive and there has not been one single issue to report, according to Sheriff Scott Childers.

Thirteen Ray County Future Farmers of America (FFA) students from Richmond and Orrick high schools attended the annual Greenhand Motivational Conferences. Of the 4,500 first-year FFA students in attendance, over 350 represented Missouri high schools.
