Crawford in MU spotlight

As their spotlight this week, the University of Missouri (MU) Extension selected Jim Crawford, Field Specialist in Ag Engineering, to help ag producers in Northwest Missouri through his work as Director of the Graves-Chapple Extension and Education Center. His involvement in the extension center has reached many people through field events, presentations and publications.

The Missouri Department of Agriculture’s latest agriculture photo contest is underway. Missourians may submit photos for the 15th annual Focus on Missouri Agriculture competition through June 7.

Teachers highlight reading curriculum

Dear Elementary Title 1 Teacher Brittany Horine and Dyslexia/Reading Interventionist Trish Gorham talked about reading curriculums during the Richmond R-XVI School Board last week. The two discussed the Lexia Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) and UFLI Foundations.
