The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) has named Claire Burch as the new conservation agent serving Ray County. A native of Lee’s Summit, Burch has lifelong experience in the outdoors, and since college, she has worked in the conservation field.
A $1,000 National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) grant has been awarded to Allison Coats of Richmond by Cencora Impact Foundation. Coats, a senior at Richmond High School, is currently the Richmond FFA chapter president.
