Orrick’s FFA trapshooting team almost brought home a district title recently. Finishing with a 427, the team placed second among 26 teams at Central District FFA competition, held April 6 at the Missouri Trapshooters Range in Linn Creek. Orrick finished two points behind district champion Sherwood and a point ahead of third-place Boonville. Maddox Peterson led Orrick by shooting a 92. The junior, who’s also on Orrick’s golf roster, took eighth out of 127 registered shooters.
