THEY AGREE to disagree, with Sheriff Scott Childers shaking hands with 911 Board President Paul Harris at the end of the County Commission meeting. Childers wants the public to vote to give his office 40% of the tax money now going to 911 so that he can build a county justice center and increase staff.

3-month-old suffers strangulation bruises, six broken ribs, brain injury; father jailed

Body RICHMOND – A father is charged with three counts of child abuse that left his 10-week-old daughter with a brain injury, six broken ribs and bruises consistent with strangulation.

BASED on an investigation conducted by Ray County detective Amy Sisson, Edwin Moisen “Moshy” Marroquin-Quevedo, 29, Kansas City, Kansas, is in custody while facing three child abuse charges.
