to PRO Covering Richmond varsity baseball this spring has gotten me to thinking. The handful of times I’ve seen the Spartans play at Southview Park, their home field, I don’t recall hearing “walkout music.” Just as the term suggests, walkout music is played whenever a batter for the home team walks out from the on-deck circle to the plate to hit.
Powell is ‘super-glad’ to be groundbreaking gymnast

Richmond senior Cobi Powell will soon be part of a small subgroup of college student athletes. As the Richmond News recently reported, Powell has signed her letter of intent to attend and compete in gymnastics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL).
