Spurred by some divine guidance, two 8-man youth football teams are forming in Orrick. Led by Drew Schoeneck, plans are underway to form one team for third- and fourth-graders, and another for fifth- and sixth-graders.

A trailblazer and a man who kept his speech short and sweet were among the class of 2025 inductees into the Richmond Spartan Athletic Hall of Fame. Shamaine Danner was the trailblazer.

A lineup change was needed for this year’s Richmond Spartan Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Emcee Brandon Quick told the crowd at the June 7 event that George Robinson was scheduled to be inducted last.
