County students make way at Greenhand event

Body Thirteen Ray County Future Farmers of America (FFA) students from Richmond and Orrick high schools attended the annual Greenhand Motivational Conferences. Of the 4,500 first-year FFA students in attendance, over 350 represented Missouri high schools.

MU program supports local newspapers

Jail administrator talks current warrant system

Body Since Ray County 911 severed ties with the Ray County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD), the department now has to enter and cancel warrants on its own. Ray County Jail Administrator Melanie Pumphery explained her new process at the jail.
