Richmond baseballers look to end skid

Richmond has two chances to get a win in April in varsity baseball – if the weather cooperates. The Spartans are scheduled to play Lathrop at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Southview Park in Richmond and Mid-Buchanan at 4:30 p.m. April 30, also at Southview.

Pugh runs with tailwind to victory at Lexington

LEXINGTON – Richmond’s Kaylee Pugh shared the credit for her victory in the girls 100-meter dash at the Bill Hamann Invitational. “The wind definitely helped, being behind my back,” Pugh said a few minutes after winning the race April 11 at Lexington High School.

RHS netters rise to Terry’s challenge

Richmond coach Brett Terry issued a challenge to his varsity boys tennis team before Monday’s home dual with Knob Noster. “(The) last time we played (them), it was 5-4,” Terry recalled.
