ONE OF THE BEST Richmond’s Karoline Dooley ended her junior season as one of the state’s elite high school golfers. Dooley placed sixth among 80-plus individual finishers at the Class 2 state tournament, which concluded Tuesday at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club in New Bloomfield.

STILL UNDEFEATED Norborne Hardin-Central’s quest for a perfect season in varsity 8-man football continues. The Aggies are 7-0 overall entering their meeting Friday with Braymer/ Breckenridge/Southwest of Livingston County at Braymer.

For the first time in years, Richmond has qualified for state as a team in girls golf. The Spartans will play in the Class 2 state tournament, scheduled for Oct.
