Michael D. “Mykel” Minnick, Jr., 48, of Kansas City, died Friday, November 26, 2021, at Adventhealth of Shawnee Mission, KS.
Mykel was born on September 20, 1973, in Richmond, the son of and Michael D. Minnick, Sr. and Brenda Hilton.
Alice Pauline (Eaton) Danner, 72, of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at home surrounded by family in Lexington, Missouri.
Casey Cline, 25, or Richmond, MO passed away Friday, Nov. 19, 2021.
Casey was born on Jan. 17, 1996. He is the son of Tom and Lynda Cline.
Casey had two loving children he leaves behind, Colton and Miya Cline. He also leaves behind his parents, Tom and Lynda; five brothers, Tommy, Jake, Zach, Cody and Collin; three sisters, Molly, Tiffany and Sarah; many nieces and nephews; and left behind many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Lee Roy Van Oster, 76, a resident of Richmond, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at North Care Hospice in North Kansas City.
Lee Roy was born on January 3, 1945, the son of Roy and Emma (Palmer) Van Oster. On August 13, 1966, Lee Roy married Carline Kinney of Excelsior Springs, she survives of the home.
June C. Kusick, 99, of Rayville, died Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
June was born on June 23, 1922, in Kirkwood, the daughter of Charles L. and Josephine (Nuhs) Kostedt. She was united in marriage to Charles V. Kusick, Sr., on July 28, 1943; he preceded her in death on December 19, 2001.
Travis Lee Guthrie, 35, of Orrick, died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
Travis was born on July 14, 1986, in Independence.
James Allen “Jim” Strain, 79, of Hardin, died Monday, November 15, 2021, at his home.
James was born in Morton, Missouri, on January 8, 1942, the son of Oliver Henry and Beulah Mae (Whiting) Strain. He was united in marriage to Sharon K. Barnett in Las Vegas, on July 1, 1994, she survives of the home.
Tiffany Marie Smith - age 32 of Richmond, MO passed away Sunday, November 7th, 2021. Tiffany was born October 27, 1989, in North Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of Mark Dwain Smith and Debra Peoples. Tiffany grew up in Richmond and graduated from high school there. She loved God, family, her children, animals, nature, and anything outdoors. She was a free spirit with a beautiful, contagious spirit and loved helping people. One of Tiffany's favorite things to do was watch the moon with her children. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Bryce Alan Wheeler, 26 of Orrick, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, MO. Bryce was born on September 9, 1995 in Liberty, Missouri to Brett Alan Wheeler and Jody Lynn (Cook) Wheeler. Bryce had lived his entire life in Orrick and Ray County. He attended school in Orrick and graduated from Orrick High School with the class of 2014. He was currently employed doing various jobs at Shirkey Golf Course in Richmond, MO. Bryce was one of those people that had an infectious smile and laugh that drew people to him.
