As news of Tony Ghisalberti’s retirement spread, dozens of community members shared memories, well wishes and gratitude. Here are just a few of the comments that reflect the impact he’s had over four decades of deliveries: Keesha Johnson — “Tony was always a joy to be around— constantly smiling, cracking jokes, and lifting the mood wherever he went. I never once saw him with an attitude or a smirk. Every time he came into the popcorn shop, it was nothing but fun and laughter. He truly made an impact, and no one deserves retirement more than Tony. Wishing him all the best in this next chapter!” Terehea Strider — “We will miss your kindness, your service with a smile and for just being a friend. There will never be another Tony. Thank you for all your dedication. You will be missed” Andi Dial — “No, not Tony retiring. Now, who will wave with a smile? We love our Tony.”
