2024 tax levy approved

Body The 2024 personal and real property tax levy was established during a recent Richmond City Council meeting after hearing no opposition from local citizens. Of the tax, $0.6656 per $100.00 assessed valuation will go to general revenue, while $0.1661 per $100.

Warrants issued for ES crimes

Body Warrants were issued for two area residents for non-appearance in court. Nickols A warrant has been issued for a Leavenworth woman who allegedly committed a crime in Excelsior Springs.

Commissioners approve new courthouse clocks

Body Ray County Commissioners approved the purchase of four clocks for the courthouse during a recent meeting. The commissioners were notified during a June meeting that all four courthouse clocks were broken and needed to be removed.

Body Ray County Sheriff’s Department arrests from June 30, 2024 to July 3, 2024. Sunday, June 30 At 1:16 a.m., Andrea Kay Griffith-Brower, 42, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., was arrested for contempt of court.

Red Cross announces blood shortage
