Red Cross announces blood shortage

Since the beginning of July, the Red Cross has faced a significant drop of over 25% in the national blood supply. It is crucial for individuals of all blood types, especially those with type O blood, to come forward and donate at the earliest opportunity. During the month of July, the heat had a significant impact on nearly 100 blood drives across almost every state where the Red Cross collects blood.
