Ray County needs its own multistage bicycle race. The Tour de France helped lead me to that epiphany.

RICHMOND – Most area school districts, a notable exception being Hardin-Central, received perfect scores during the Missouri Highway Patrol’s Annual School Bus Safety inspection. Out of five buses serving the Hardin-Central School District, two failed, resulting in a 60% approval rating and both buses being taken out of service.

RICHMOND – The Dolphin Swim Team swam away with its June 23 season-opening triangular with Carrollton and Marshall. Spurred by 24 event wins, the Dolphins tallied 341 points.

RICHMOND – Salvation Army Store Director Phil Powers said he is unsure whether the new building attached to the store will undergo demolition or restoration. The attached building suffered extensive damage in a fire three weeks ago.
