Body
Nearly 40 Hardin residents entered the Ray County Commissioners’ quarters at the county courthouse to discuss State Hwy A concerns with commissioners Dave Powell, Billy Gaines, and Gary Wilhite; and District 7 state Representative Peggy Mc-Gaugh. Concerns were from the Hardin- Central School District, farmers, and residents – their goal was to find out ways they can get support from the local government in hopes Hwy A will be a priority to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT).

How to support Veterans

Body
Every year nearly 44 Veterans take their own lives, according to the America’s Warrior Partnership (AWP). In light of Veterans Day, there are many ways to support local Veterans; this Veteran’s Day was created after World War I ended – when the Treaty of Versailles was signed on June 28, 1919, in the Palace of Versailles outside the town of Versailles, France. However, fighting ceased seven months earlier when an armistice, or temporary cessation of hostilities, between the Allied nations and Germany went into effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, according to department.va.gov.
