DYLAN COMSTOCK has control of the basketball for the Bearcats Friday night during their 55-43 courtwarming win over Hardin-Central. Comstock is among three Bearcats to finish the non-conference home meeting in double figures. Junior Ethan Wilson leads Orrick with 18 points, followed by Comstock with 17 and senior Blake McAfee with 11. Three Bulldogs also reach double figures. Junior Trevor Gibson leads Hardin-Central with 13 points, followed by senior Kysor Hughes with 12 and freshman Dalton Thacker with 10.

It is a two-point ballgame at halftime, but Orrick pulls away during the second half for a 55-43 non-conference and courtwarming win. The Bearcats (11-7), who snap a two-game losing streak with their victory, return to I-70 Conference play Tuesday at Crest Ridge. The Bulldogs (3-11) are scheduled Tuesday to host Chilhowee.

HARDIN-CENTRAL freshman Mason McCaulley looks to dribble around Orrick senior Gabe McAfee Friday night in varsity boys basketball action. Sparked by a 10-2 opening run, Orrick leads 13-6 after one quarter. Hardin-Central, however, makes it a two-point ballgame by outscoring Orrick 15-10 the second quarter. The Bearcats respond by outscoring the Bulldogs 32-22 the second half to win their homecoming 55-43.
