Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC) varsity softball co-coaches Brandee Doyle and Tommy Dunkin and their Aggies are probably glad this week is here.

At press time, the Aggies were slated to start their season Thursday at Lexington – their sole ballgame scheduled this week.

“Lexington is usually pretty competitive and we look forward to the season opener,” Doyle and Dunkin stated in their fall sports preview questionnaire.

Doyle, who’s in her 11th year of coaching; and Dunkin, who’s in his 10th, are leading a team with six returning letter winners: senior Amanda Wollard; juniors Dani Dunkin, Londynn Evans, Nevaeh Wollard and Lilleigh Wright; and sophomore Carina Stevens. Dunkin, Evans, Stevens, Nevaeh Wollard and Amanda Wollard also are returning starters, the two coaches stated.
