Veterans across Missouri interested in learning the art and science of beekeeping can now sign up for a hands-on training opportunity as registration opens for the 2026 Heroes to Hives program. University of Missouri (MU) Extension Assistant Professor Karen Funkenbusch said veterans who want to learn about beekeeping can attend the self-paced online class, which runs from March through November.
