Drive-through clinics for Ray County scheduled to take place in April, May

RICHMOND – A location is being sought to hold a vaccination clinic in Ray County during May, but those who do not want to wait can go to a clinic next week in Lafayette County. The Health Care Collaborative of Rural Missouri – in collaboration with the Ray County and Lafayette County health departments – will host a drive-through vaccination clinic in Lexington on April 17.

House committee rejects Medicaid expansion funds

JEFFERSON CITY – Medicaid expansion advocates celebrated victory in August after more than 53% of voters said the program should add more than 200,000 Missourians. But last week, Republican House Budget Committee members voted down House Bill 20, which would have provided almost $1.9 billion in funding for the voter-approved expansion.
