Police officers awarded

Richmond Police Chief Scott Bagley recognized some of his officers with awards during an early February Richmond City Council meeting. With Richmond officers lining the rows of seating, Bagley gave Officers Derek Gardner and Brandon Peet the Life Saving Commendations and presented Corporal Tommy Rodriguez with the “2023 Officer of the Year Award.” The chief said the Life-Saving Commendation award not only represents what the officers do, but also their potential to save a person’s life.
