Multi-agency pursuit leads to felony charges

A 31-year-old Braymer woman is facing several charges from multiple agencies following a recent vehicle pursuit. After a vehicle was reported stolen from Casey’s gas station in Polo, Ray County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) Deputy Robbie Cox located and initiated the pursuit of the vehicle on Palmer Drive. According to Ray County Sheriff Scott Childers, Taylor D Shoe allegedly fled and struck Childers’ patrol vehicle three times and Cox’s once. Pursuit ensued with the assistance of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A, Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), Lawson Police Department, Excelsior Springs Police Department, and Liberty Police Department. CCSO successfully deployed spike strips near 69 Highway and Rhodus Road, striking two of Shoe’s tires. She continued to flee until wrecking at Glenn Hendren Drive and 291 Highway in Liberty, Childers said.
