Five-year-old Charli Dunwoodie of Braymer was recently awarded the title of Little Miss Ray County. She will be advancing to the America’s Best National Pageant in Nashville, Tenn. September 6-8, with hopes of bringing home a title for her community. Dunwoodie, daughter of Dalton and Kiara Dunwoodie, has enjoyed being involved with pageants for two years. Her favorite part is performing dance and gymnastics routines for the talent portion of the competition. “She comes up with some of her routines, others she learns from Mrs. Megan at dance class,” said Kiara. Her least favorite part is having to get up early to attend pageants. Charli currently attends Shapes Dance and Acro where she participates in Sparkle Squad, gymnastics, cheer and hip hop.
