Friend, opponent pushes King to victories at invitational

CARROLLTON – A longtime friend and opponent helped give Richmond senior Kaylee King the extra oomph she needed to win two events at the Bruce Finlayson Invitational. Competing against Orrick’s Anela Fletcher, King won the girls 100-meter high hurdles in 16.3 seconds and triple jump by leaping 11.14 meters at the April 25 varsity track and field competition at Carrollton.
