RPD duo honored for heroic stand-off response

MIRANDA JAMISON The response of two Richmond officers to a dangerous situation has earned them the state’s highest honor for bravery. Richmond Police Department (RPD) Lieutenant Brandon Ray and Sergeant Luke Covey were awarded the Medal of Valor by the Missouri Police Chiefs Association for their leadership during an armed standoff on April 15, 2024.

Richmond man denied bond, 5 felonies

A Richmond man has entered a not guilty plea and was denied a bond modification while facing five felony charges involving child pornography.  

  

Jordan W. Seller, 28, is charged with second-degree promoting child pornography to a minor, three counts of possession of child pornography and tampering or attempting to tamper with a victim in a felony prosecution.
