Nira Genevia Adkins, 88, of Richmond, MO, died Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, MO.

Nira was born on August 30, 1933, in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of John and Gladys (Towe) Cunningham.  She was united in marriage to John David “J.D.” Adkins on December 8, 1948; he preceded her in death on January 22, 2018.

Betty Jo Riley, 89, of Richmond, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at Life Care Center in Carrollton.

Betty was born on Oct. 31, 1932, in Protem, MO the daughter of Elton and Gertrude (Coplin) Wilson. She was united in marriage to Charles T. Riley Jr., MD of Bassitt, NE, on Aug. 3, 1951, he preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 2013. 

On Nov. 5, 2021, in the blink of an eye, Anthony Leo Johnson, 29, lost his life in a fatal car accident; Rick and Dottie Johnson lost their beloved son; and Hailey Gillip lost her loving fiancé and the life they were building for their unborn son, Liam Johnson, and brother, Steven Logsdon.   

Monte D. Livingston, 92, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on Nov. 7, 2021, at Oak Ridge Assisted Living in Richmond, MO, surrounded by his loving family.

Robert Leylan Creed passed away Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, in Hardin, MO.  Robert lived a full life and was granted an earthly life of 85 years, three months, and 23 days. 

Shellie L. Gearhart passed away in Richmond, MO on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021.

She was born on Jan. 25, 1929, in Dover, MO to George and Alva Smith. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Gearhart.

James Edwin Lewis, 83, of Richmond, passed away peacefully Monday, November 1, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. 

Randy Allen Bryant returned to his peaceful home on Sunday, October 31 st , 2021. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 7th from 1-2:30pm and the Memorial Service will be held immediately after at 2:30pm. Both will be held at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Guests are asked to wear Chiefs shirts in honor of Randy.
