The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Kansas City Division is seeking the help of all area members of the community. The FBI is reaching out to the public for help in identifying an unknown male who is believed to have crucial information that could assist in identifying a child victim as part of an ongoing sexual exploitation investigation.

Richmond Township has four Republican candidates vying for two seats Lin Templeton, Rich Templeton, Elizabeth Wenig and Gary Wenig. The Richmond News asked the candidates questions. Lin Templeton and Rich Templeton did not respond to our questions.

The three Republican candidates on the ballet for the Fishing River Township are Jennifer Houcek, Jonathan Jessop and Glenda Powell. Jessop did not respond to the questions.

Three republican newcomers face incumbent, Gary Wilhite in the primary election; Bobby Don Davis, Katie Kraxberger, and James Evans. The winner will face Sam Pigg in the November general election for a seat on the Ray County Commission.

Democrat Jim Bates running unopposed in the August primary for U.S. Senate District six will face the republican winner of the April primary election. The Richmond News asked the candidate a few questions.
