ORRICK – The Bearcats dropped their two varsity basketball games Tuesday night to visiting Sweet Springs/Malta Bend. The Orrick girls fell 48-27, putting them at 1-19 entering Wednesday’s non-conference road meeting with winless Lexington.

H-C boys win, girls fall

TINA – Hardin-Central extended its latest winning streak Tuesday night in varsity boys basketball. Sparked by 20 points from Brayden Schick and 15 from fellow senior Korbin Pugh, the Bulldogs downed host school Tina-Avalon 51-43 in the Carroll-Livingston Activities Association Tournament.
