Thomas Dewey Doss Sr.,” age 76, of Richmond, passed away at 5:37 p.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2021, while surrounded by his loving family at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Richmond, Missouri. 

Tom lived earnestly and was granted an earthly life of seventy-six years, nine months, and twenty-six days.

Michael John Archer, 60, of Richmond, died Monday, October 11, 2021, at Lafayette Regional Hospital in Lexington.

Michael was born on February 16, 1961, in Dawson, NE, the son of John D. and Mary Alice (Sumptur) Archer. He was united in marriage to Paula Marie Clark of Pisgah, IA on October 11, 1980; they later divorced.

Aldonna (Sookie) (El) Lee Burnett

Aldonna (Sookie) (El) Lee Burnett, 71, passed away at her home in Lexington on Friday Oct. 8, 2021. She was born Aug. 23, 1950.

Her services took place on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, with visitation at 4:30-6:30 p.m. and the funeral following at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington.  Cremation and interment will take place at a later time. All in attendance were asked to wear Chief’s attire. The family suggested everyone wear a mask.

Bessie "Naomi" (Thorington) Miller

Bessie “Naomi” (Thorington) Miller (April 13, 1931) passed away at her home the morning of October 5th, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 67 years, Wayne L. Miller and one son, Jerry W. Miller. Surviving family include daughters Terri Miller and Beverly Jackson (Tim) and sons Mark Miller (Yvonne), Jim Miller (Cheryl), and Jeff Miller. Naomi is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

Kenneth "Ken" Roy Miller

Mr. Kenneth “Ken” Roy Miller, age 77, entered into rest on Saturday, October 2, 2021. A Memorial service will be held 6:00 O’clock PM Thursday, October 7, 2021 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Jeffrey Hart, Pastor Scott Adams, and a Eulogy by William Pegues. A visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Roy Lea Drake 48, of Richmond, passed away on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, peacefully at his home.

Roy was born on Feb. 8, 1973, Kansas City, Missouri, the son of the late Roger Drake Sr. and Virginia (Birdsong) Arzola.  On Feb. 24, 1995, Roy and Tonya (Jackson) Drake were united in marriage.
