Local law enforcement and advocacy nonprofits are working to raise awareness for National Stalking Awareness Month this January.

Are you an FCS Financial member with a child or grandchild who is a high school senior? If so, they could be eligible to earn a $2,000 scholarship for college. Since 2004, FCS Financial has awarded nearly $878,000 in scholarships to Missouri high school seniors.

Concerns regarding the operational capabilities of the Eagleton Center as an Emergency Relief Shelter were shared with Ray County Commissioners during a recent meeting. During public comments, Ray County resident Brian Couch emphasized the urgent need for a generator, stating without it, the center would struggle to fulfill its role in times of crisis effectively.
