Bonnie Faye Junkins, 80, of Richmond, formerly of Norborne, died Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.  Bonnie was born on August 7, 1941, in Long Lane, the daughter of Charley Everett and Flora Alice (Williams) Smith.

Harold Wayne Simmons, 85, of Richmond, died Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.  Harold was born on July 21, 1936, in Henrietta, the son of William J. and Letha C. (Lemke) Simmons.

Rodney Eugene Gorham, 60, of Camden, died Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.  Rodney was born on October 29, 1961, in Ray County.  The son of Paul Ray and Era Jean (Mansell) Gorham.

John V. Lusk, 57, son of John Lusk Jr. and Mary Sue (Farris) Smith, passed away on Jan.15, 2022 at his home in Richmond, MO.

Mary Jo Haynes Garner Davis, 89, passed away Jan. 25, 2022. She was born Feb. 8, 1931, to Carl M. and Cecil S. (McCann) Haynes in Richmond, MO. Mary Jo was a lifelong resident of Richmond.  Mary Jo was an RHS graduate of 1949 (the 49ers).

Yolanda Marie Galvez, 86, born Sept. 26, 1935, in Tampa, FL, passed away Jan. 25, 2022, in Richmond, MO surrounded by her family.

David W. Peoples, 86, of Knoxville, MO passed away Monday morning, Jan. 24, 2022, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO. 

Joseph Correll Thompson, Jr., 82, a resident of Richmond, MO passed away on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond. Joseph was born on Feb. 2, 1939, in Richmond the son of Joseph and Nanabelle (Stigall) Thompson, Sr. He married Pat Prichard of Richmond.

Donald Ray “Don” Simms, 84, of Richmond, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Donald was born on Nov. 14, 1937, in Carrollton.  He was first married to Judi Ann Thomas of Richmond in April 1958; they later divorced.

Larry Pearl Palmer, 72, of Richmond, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at V.A. Medical Center in Kansas City. Larry was born on Aug. 21, 1949, in Fleming, the son of John Henry Clay and Wilma Elizabeth (Van Oster) Palmer.
