Students create clay figures

Two local elementary teachers are helping students and parents to strengthen bonds through the process of creating ceramic art. In 2005, art teachers Bea Hendrix from Dear Elementary School and Spencer Barr from Sunrise Elementary School started hosting Family Clay Night at their schools.

Youth encouraged to participate in drama camp

Spring Drama Camp is the perfect place for children to be aware of what is involved with theater. Coordinated by Farris Youth Theater Company, one- and two-day camps began in January at Farris Theater in Richmond and will continue through April.
